On April 15, the results for the hardware encoders of MSU Video Codecs Comparisons 2022 organized by Moscow State University were officially announced. Kuaishou’s StreamLake - 200 or SL200, its first self-developed intelligent video processing System on Chip (SoC) product, won the first place in 7 out of 12 indexes in all three tracks, and was the only encoder that made its way to the top two positions in all three tracks, showing the chip’s excellent encoding performance and wide application range in the industry, especially in high-quality and high-density scenarios. It could support up to 8-channel 4K@ 60fps conversion, reaching the industry’s leading level.
